About of dziriani.ge : Dziriani is a folk-ethnographic group founded in 2011, consisting of 15 members, all originating from the Racha region. The group's primary mission is to revive and popularize forgotten Rachan folklore, performing it in the traditional manner and style it was originally done. Their repertoire is based on old archival recordings and new material collected by the leader during folklore expeditions. Dziriani performs ancient, forgotten Rachan songs and dances accompanied by traditional instruments like chianuri, stviri, dairi, and garmon, reflecting the characteristic Rachan way of life.
