About of imeretiagro.ge : Imeretiagro is a pilot project aimed at supporting the development of agriculture in Georgia, financially backed by Georgian Manganese. The project's primary goal is to foster agricultural growth as a foundation for economic recovery. Imeretiagro intends to assist local entrepreneurs in developing their farms and creating Georgian products. Currently, the project is financing beneficiaries of the 'Plant the Future' program, who will join after the autumn of 2021, covering their subsequent stage expenses. The financed crops include blueberries, blackberries, plums, tkemali, persimmons, cherries, currants, gooseberries, raspberries, apples, pears, figs, walnuts, and hazelnuts. The project offers financial assistance for melioration (50%), seedlings (30%), minerals (100%), and pesticides (100%).
