About of novatec.ge : Novatec International LLC is establishing Georgia's first radiopharmaceutical facility, set to begin operations in 2025. This state-of-the-art facility will produce radiopharmaceuticals for positron-emission computed tomography (PET) studies, supplying licensed healthcare institutions. The project involves collaboration with Israeli medical-technology company Elsmed HSR Ltd and Belgian cyclotron manufacturer IBA. The facility will utilize a "Cyclone Kiube 100" cyclotron and other advanced equipment to meet Georgia's current and future needs for radiopharmaceuticals like 18F-FDG and other radioactive isotopes. This initiative aims to increase the availability of PET scans for a broader population, improve the quality of medical care for cancer patients, and significantly advance nuclear medicine in Georgia. Construction adheres to international standards and Georgian legislation, with production processes compliant with EU GMP requirements.
