About of rsmedp.ge : The Rural SMEs Development Project (RSMEDP) is a project financed by the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation (SDC). Its primary goal is to boost income and employment in rural areas of Georgia. The project employs a market systems development approach to enhance rural Small and Medium-sized Enterprises' (SMEs) access to crucial financial and business support services. It is executed by a consortium including Swisscontact, Mercy Corps, and The Springfield Centre for business in development. Phase I of the project concluded in 2024, with Phase II scheduled from 2025 to 2028, continuing its mission to foster economic growth in rural Georgia.
