GARCAE focuses on environmental protection, particularly ozone layer preservation and global warming, by developing and implementing solutions and regulations in the artificial cooling field. The association has been instrumental in national programs for refrigerant collection and recycling, technician training, and developing Georgian standards for refrigeration equipment. It also fosters international cooperation and was a key initiator in creating a network of refrigeration associations in Eastern Europe and Central Asia.
