About of :The Georgian Biotechnology Association (GeBA) is a non-profit, non-governmental organization founded in 2019. Its primary mission is to foster the development of biotechnology, applied biosciences, green technologies, and innovations within Georgia. GeBA brings together approximately 200 members, including young researchers, specialists, and companies operating in agricultural, food, environmental, and medical sectors. The association serves as a crucial platform connecting research and innovation, education, business, and the public. GeBA actively participates in and implements projects funded by the European Union, USAID, Tbilisi State University, and the Georgian National Science Foundation. It also supports student exchange programs with European universities, organizes scientific conferences, and provides training and consulting services for farmers, businesses, food producers, and laboratories.
