About of :SCIG International, also known as Eastern Power Company, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sichuan Energy Investment Group. The company was established in 1999 and is responsible for the investment, construction, ownership, and operation of the Khadori Hydropower Station in Georgia. This project was the first foreign-invested hydropower project built with direct Chinese investment after Georgia's independence, marking a new chapter in energy cooperation between China and Georgia. The company plays a significant role in the local community by creating employment opportunities, providing stable fiscal revenue, and developing skilled professionals for Georgia's energy sector. SCIG International is a senior member of Georgia's energy community and serves as the president unit of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Georgia.
